Toy ODM & OEM Manufacturing —
The Factory That Treats Your 1,000-Unit
Order Like It's 100,000
Big factories deprioritize small orders. Middlemen inflate your costs. We're the alternative — a factory built for brands ordering 500-50,000 units, with direct engineer access, 5-day prototyping, and pricing that leaves room for your margin.
The Reality Check
Working with a middleman or big factory? Here's what you're really paying for.
Every sourcing option has a hidden cost. We'll show you exactly what each one is costing your business — and how factory-direct with LeelineToys eliminates all of them.
Stop Losing Margin to Middlemen
Trading CompaniesEvery agent, trading company, and broker between you and the factory is taking 15-30% of your margin. When you buy direct, that money stays in your business — where it belongs.
Our factory-direct model eliminates every intermediary. You pay materials + labor + overhead. That's it. Most clients save 22-38% compared to their previous agent-based sourcing.
Your Design Is Not Safe with Intermediaries
Trading CompaniesTrading companies shop your designs to multiple factories for the best price. Your unique concept becomes tomorrow's catalog item for someone else.
We sign NDAs before any design review. Every client's project runs in its own isolated pipeline. You own your molds and tooling permanently — protected by contract and by our business model.
Your Order Gets Deprioritized at Big Factories
Large FactoriesLarge factories like Weijun and Demeng run 50,000-unit minimums. Your 3,000-unit order is a rounding error — it gets pushed to a junior line, delayed for bigger clients, and treated as filler work.
We specialize in 500-50,000 unit runs. Your order gets a dedicated production line and a project manager who treats it like it's our only job — because at our scale, it is.
High MOQs Lock You Out Before You Start
Large FactoriesMajor factories demand 3,000-10,000 unit minimums. For a startup testing a new design or a brand launching a limited collection, that's capital tied up in inventory you can't guarantee you'll sell.
Our MOQ starts at 500 units for most categories — 300 for plush and wooden toys. We grow with you: start small, validate your market, scale when you're ready. No penalty pricing on low volumes.
Fragmented Supply Chains Create Chaos
BothOne company for design, another for tooling, a third for production, a fourth for packaging. Every handoff is a point of failure — delays, miscommunication, finger-pointing when something goes wrong.
Design, tooling, production, assembly, packaging, and logistics all happen under one roof. One point of contact. One accountable team. When you message us, you reach the person making your product.
Hidden Costs Appear at the Worst Time
BothMold fees, packaging surcharges, "expedited" sampling, last-minute logistics premiums — intermediaries and big factories alike add line items you never saw coming.
Every quote is line-by-line transparent: materials cost, labor hours, finishing, packaging, logistics. No hidden line items. No last-minute surcharges. You approve every cost before it's incurred.

In-House Tooling & Mold Making
CNC machining, EDM, and mold fabrication on-site. No outsourcing means faster tooling adjustments and lower mold costs for our clients. Modifications that take other factories two weeks happen here in days.
Material Testing Laboratory
Physical and chemical testing for all incoming materials. Tensile strength, colorfastness, flammability, and heavy metal screening before production begins. If a material doesn't pass our lab, it never reaches your product.
Dedicated Assembly & Packaging Lines
Separate lines for plush, plastic, wood, and electronics — cross-contamination prevention and category-specific quality checkpoints. Each line is calibrated for the specific requirements of its product category.
Manufacturing Techniques
Precision techniques for every surface, every detail
Six specialized capabilities, all in-house. Every technique performed by our own team — consistent quality, zero outsourcing.
Embroidery Excellence
2D and 3D embroidery with up to 12+ colors. Facial features, logos, and decorative patterns with stitch-level precision. Digital files archived for perfect batch-to-batch consistency across production runs.
Heat Transfer Printing
Photorealistic graphics and photo-quality prints fused to fabric at a molecular level. Full-color, high-resolution designs that won't crack, peel, or fade — even after repeated washing. Perfect for detailed character faces and complex illustrations.
Screen Printing
High-volume, bold-color graphics for promotional toys and brand merchandise. Single-color through full-process color. Fast, cost-effective, and built for large runs. Consistent vibrancy from the first unit to the fifty-thousandth.
Sublimation Printing
All-over, edge-to-edge designs that become part of the fabric itself — not a surface layer. Perfect for complex patterns, gradients, and designs that wrap the entire product surface. Zero texture difference on printed areas.
Foil Stamping
Metallic gold, silver, rose gold, and holographic foil accents for luxury packaging and premium product details. Adds tactile dimension and shelf presence that flat printing cannot match. Elevates your product above competitors on the same shelf.
Interactive Feature Integration
Sound modules, motion sensors, LED arrays, and vibration motors embedded seamlessly into plush and plastic toys. Our electronics team handles PCB design, component sourcing, and safety testing as a single integrated workflow — no separate vendors.
Testimonials
What our partners say
"We saved 28% on our first production run compared to our previous sourcing agent. The direct access to engineers meant our samples came back in 6 days instead of 3 weeks. For a small brand like ours, that speed changes everything."
Lena Weber
Founder, Pippa & Co. Toys
"I was nervous about ordering only 2,000 units — every other factory I talked to either quoted me 5x the price or told me to come back when I had "real volume." LeelineToys treated my order like it was 100,000 units. Same attention, same quality, same respect."
Ravi Mehta
Head of Product, WonderStack
"Having WhatsApp access to the engineer running our production line was a game-changer. We caught a color mismatch during inline QC — 10 minutes later it was fixed. With our previous agent, that same fix would have taken two weeks and three layers of communication."

FAQ About ODM/OEM
Questions smart toy brands ask.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) means you provide the complete design and we manufacture to your exact specifications — you control the product. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) means our in-house design team develops the product concept based on your brief — we help create the product from your idea. Most of our clients use a blend: you bring the vision, we provide the engineering expertise to make it production-ready. Both models include full IP protection and mold ownership.
Our standard MOQ starts at 500 units for most toy categories, with flexibility for first-time partners. Plush toys and wooden toys can start as low as 300 units. We're one of the few toy manufacturers that actively welcomes startups and small brands — we grow together. For pet toys and electronic toys, MOQ typically starts at 1,000 units due to tooling and component requirements.
IP protection is foundational to our business. We sign NDAs before any design review. Each client's projects operate under strict design isolation — your molds, patterns, and specifications are never shared with other clients. We provide exclusivity agreements that legally prevent your designs from being manufactured for or sold to other buyers. Your molds and tooling belong to you permanently — they are stored securely and only used for your orders.
We are ISO 9001 certified and test to EN71 (European toy safety), ASTM F963 (U.S. toy safety), CPSIA (U.S. consumer product safety), ISO 8124, and CE marking requirements. We work with TUV, SGS, and Intertek for independent third-party testing. Full compliance documentation — including test reports, certificates of conformity, and material traceability records — is provided with every shipment to ensure smooth customs clearance and retail acceptance.
Typical timelines: Prototyping (5-10 days), sampling and revisions (1-2 weeks), production (15-45 days depending on volume and complexity), and shipping (15-30 days sea freight, 5-7 days air freight). A straightforward plush toy project can go from concept to your warehouse in 45-60 days. Complex electronic toys with custom PCBs may take 90-120 days for the first production run. Rush production is available for time-sensitive launches.
Standard terms: 30% deposit to begin production, 70% balance before shipment after you approve QC photos and videos. We support Trade Assurance via Alibaba for added buyer protection. As our partnership matures, we offer flexible terms including net-30 for established relationships. All payments are made via wire transfer, Trade Assurance, or L/C for larger orders.
The key difference is focus. Large factories like Weijun and Demeng are optimized for 50,000+ unit runs from major global brands. If you're ordering 3,000-10,000 units, you're a small account — which means longer lead times, less attentive service, and less negotiating power on pricing. LeelineToys specializes in 500-50,000 unit runs. You get dedicated production lines, direct engineer access, 5-10 day prototyping, and transparent pricing — not because we're "nicer," but because our entire operation is built for brands at your scale. We're the right-sized factory for growing toy brands.
Sourcing agents add 15-30% to your unit cost and create a communication barrier between you and production. Every question, change, or concern filters through a middleman who may not understand manufacturing nuances. Factory-direct means your WhatsApp message reaches the engineer running your line in minutes, not days. You save the agent commission, you get faster iterations, and you build a direct relationship with the people making your product. For brands serious about quality and margins, factory-direct is the only model that makes long-term sense.
Yes — absolutely and permanently. When you pay for mold fabrication, the molds belong to you. We store them securely in our facility, labeled under your company name, used exclusively for your orders. If you ever want to move production, we'll ship your molds to you or your next factory at cost. This is stated explicitly in our manufacturing agreement and is a core part of our IP protection policy. We believe you should own what you pay for — no exceptions, no fine print.
It probably isn't. Our standard MOQ is 500 units — and for plush and wooden toys, we go as low as 300. But if your quantity is truly below what we can efficiently produce, we'll tell you honestly and suggest alternatives rather than taking your money and delivering a subpar experience. In many cases, we can recommend a phased approach: start with a slightly higher quantity at a lower per-unit price (the math often works in your favor), or begin with our Path C catalog-customization option which has no tooling costs and faster turnaround. We'd rather help you find the right path than push you into a bad deal.
